The instructions on this page are intended to be used only at the direction of LogicVein support. Some of the available options have the potential to generate additional CPU and disk I/O load on the NetLD server.
Login to NetLD as the "admin" user.
While remaining logged in to NetLD, open a new tab in the same browser. Navigate to the same server host, appending "/support" to the URL. You should see a screen resembling the following image:
Click on the "Logging Control" link. Depending on the direction of LogicVein Support, select either "Core packages" or "All packages", and then click the "Show me" button. You should see a screen resembling the following image:
Select the "Duration" and check-boxes next to the packages directed by LogicVein Support, then click the "Go" button. You should see a screen resembling the following image:
Live streamed logging can be observed by navigating back to the top support page (Step 2 above), and clicking on the "Server log" link. Note that the "Clear" button does not clear the actual log file, but merely the current display. Similarly, the "Mark" button places a visual marker in the current display, but does not affect the actual log file.
LogicVein Support may request that you perform certain actions to obtain logs, and request that those logs be provided.
